This project started while I was walking through the streets of Miami, especially around busy commercial areas and places with constant movement. I don’t really know where the instinct came from, but I felt a need to share what I saw, what made me laugh, what caught my attention, and what made my mind wander and imagine the moment that had happened there before me.

We all know what it’s like when nature calls and there is nowhere to go. There’s the urgency, the fear of being seen, or maybe the complete opposite: a funny scene between friends after dinner, jumping into the car and suddenly remembering that nobody stopped at the bathroom before leaving…and there were more than two beers involved. We know what that means.

These are ordinary, deeply human scenes. They create memories and a shared understanding of a situation without anyone having to say a word.

I became interested in noticing these human traces, the small pieces of evidence that tell me, someone was here. Someone couldn’t hold it any longer. Nature was stronger. The person is gone, the moment has passed, but the evidence remains.
